Happy Jack Lodge & RV was once a logging camp owned by Southwest Forest Industries.  It was built on a patented manganese mining claim. The logging camp was abandoned due to the changing economy. Later concerns for the goshawk and the spotted owl prevented the return of the logging industry to the area.

Happy Jack Lodge & RV is a full service resort on 72 acres nestled among the tall ponderosa pines atop Arizona's Mogollon Rim.
